Work with the week, not against it

Hey, Reader!

A few weeks ago, I found myself sitting at my desk on Monday morning, already feeling behind. My heart was racing, my morning coffee was going cold, I had 58 tabs open on my laptop, & a to-do list that was a mile long. I was beginning to feel overwhelmed.

Sound familiar?

I decided to go back through some notes because I remembered a podcast or email or Heart-Centered Planner from Danielle LaPorte on working with the days of the week. After about 20 minutes of flicking through my journal, I found it my notes. Then the planner. Danielle shared a framework based on planetary energy — where each day of the week carries a different frequency.

Not just productivity hacks… but actual energetic alignment.

So I tried it.

It might sound “woo,” but it’s also wildly effective.

Here’s how it works:

Monday is ruled by the Moon → Emotional check-in + intention setting

Tuesday is Mars → Bold moves, decisive action, creation

Wednesday is Mercury → Communication, planning, writing

Thursday is Jupiter → Expansion, visibility, learning, teaching

Friday is Venus → Ideation, deep connection, celebration

Saturday is Saturn → Boundaries, structure, reset, forgiveness

Sunday is the Sun → Purpose, joy, clarity, preparation

After giving it a go, slowly, something changed for me. My flow returned. My days began to support me, not drain me.

Now I’m planning my week around this energy and it’s helping me feel more grounded in my business and in my life. It's not always possible to follow, but it's a great guideline to stick to. Who doesn't want more flow to their week?

Here’s how to work with the energy in your business next week. ⤵️

3 ways to align with the energy of your week

1. Structure is not the opposite of soul, it’s a container for it.
You get to create a rhythm that works for you and still gets results. I love the freedom that structure creates for me. This is where I thrive.

2. The energy of each day is different and that makes it practical.
Work with the rhythm of the week. It’s choosing Tuesday for bold moves and Friday for rest because the energy already supports it.

3. You don’t need more hours. You need more alignment.
When your days are aligned with how you naturally feel, time stretches. More ideas land. Tasks complete with more ease.

If you give this framework a go, let me know how it goes, or maybe you already have a structure in place that works? Hit reply and tell me more!
