what I actually spend my money on

Hey Reader

It is muy scorchio out there. My fan is on overdrive, my laptop has practically melted on to my desk, and the plan I had for a big strategic issue this week melted with it.

So this one is a summer edit. Lighter, shorter, entirely practical.

Because here's what I actually believe: you are the engine of your business. And looking after the woman who runs the show is not a luxury. It's your infrastructure.

So this week, the five things that are worth every penny in my world right now. Three that keep me running, two that feel like little luxuries. Discounts included where I have them 👇

3 things keeping my business running this summer

1. Drink electrolytes

My fave is the watermelon salt one: a zero-sugar sachet in a big glass of cold water, sweet and salty, and the magnesium genuinely helps with the tiredness. I get mine from Healf, and if you order through my link you get £10 off.

→ Try this: one sachet in cold water before your first coffee. See how you feel by the end of the week.

2. Get your Glo on

Movement that actually happens. Yoga at home, short classes, no studio pressure, no performance. On the days when everything else slips, 15-30 minutes on the mat gets me back on even keel.

→ Try this: pick the shortest class you can find and do it badly. Consistency beats intensity, especially in this heat. Get a 2-month free trial with my link.

3. Grind is the good stuff

Because sometimes you don't want to leave the house to get barista-quality coffee. Grind is the good stuff, delivered, and the tins are so pretty they've become part of my kitchen.

→ Try this: make the first coffee of the day a small ritual, not a refuel. Get £5 off your next two orders with code LOUISE-EEN9J

There you have it, three small things. None of them fancy. All of them doing more for my business than another productivity app ever has.

2 little luxuries i'm loving

✦ Kollo collagen sachets

The easiest habit I own. The biggest boost for my body over 50. One sachet a day, done. No powders, no faff, and my hair, skin and nails have definitely noticed. Use my code for £10 off your first order.

The Beauty Drop by Liberty

£25 a month, four beautiful boxes a year, member discounts, and first dibs on products and the advent calendar. The treat that keeps arriving. No affiliate link on this one, I just pay for it because it's brilliant. But, you can use code BEAUTYDROP20 for your first three shipments for £20.

1 affirmation

For every woman who feels a bit guilty spending on herself:

Looking after the woman who runs the business is a business strategy.

Not a treat you have to earn. Not a reward for finishing the list. The engine gets maintained, or the whole thing stops. And you, my friend, are the engine.

What's your worth-every-penny thing? Hit reply and tell me. I read every one.

That's your 3-2-1 for this week. See you next Thursday!
