Hey, Reader! In January, I committed to a 31-day Instagram challenge. The plan: Show up daily. Build momentum. Grow my reach. The reality: I missed some days. I ran out of time. I couldn't stay ahead. Some days I scrambled. It was more work than I'd expected. But here's what happened anyway: → My reach increased 211% Turns out, showing up imperfectly still works. Here's what I learned… 3 insights1. Ideas Worth ConsideringMy follower count barely moved, but 4,859 new people saw my work this month. That's 211% more than last month. What this means for you: Stop obsessing over followers. Focus on getting your message in front of the RIGHT people. One person who deeply resonates is worth 1,000 who scroll past. The shift: Are your posts speaking to your ideal client's specific struggles? Or are you trying to appeal to everyone? Get clear on exactly WHO you are speaking to. 2. Clarity is the most magnetic thing you can createMy "Start Here" carousel (the one where I clearly stated who I serve and what I do) became my most liked and commented post of the month. What this means for you: Confusion repels. Clarity attracts. If people can't immediately understand who you are and what you do, they scroll past. The shift: Can someone read your bio and know in 3 seconds if they're in the right place? If not, it's time to simplify. 3. Showing up imperfectly beats waiting for perfectI didn't complete all 31 days. But I showed up more in January than I thought I would. And people connected with the messy, real version more than the polished one ever did. What this means for you: You don't need to be perfect. You don't need to post daily. You don't need a flawless content calendar. You need to show up when you can, how you can, and say something that matters. The shift: What would happen if you gave yourself permission to show up imperfectly this month? 2 loves✦ Click-worthy subject lines ✦ The perfect home office space 1 postCan someone who lands on your profile in 10 seconds understand:
If the answer is no (or maybe), it's time to get clearer. Because here's what I learned this month: Clarity isn't just nice to have. It's the foundation of everything. Your ideal clients are out there searching for exactly what you offer. But if your messaging is muddy, they'll scroll right past you—not because you're not good enough, but because they didn't recognise themselves in your work. With love & curiosity, P.S.
