May 19, 2013. I was bouncing on an exercise ball watching the Eurovision Song contest with Scout (my dog) watching me intently. She knew what was happening. By 4am I was listening to Bob Dylan, eating almonds, waiting for Miss Tilly to arrive.

At 7:18am on the 20th, she came into the world eyes wide open and a cry that filled the room.

13 years on, she's still letting out belters that fill rooms, only this time on stage in front of hundreds, completely fearless. ✨

And in between the birthday cake, the sleepover, and the running of all the monthly things, I've also had a very full work week translating user research (with many of you) into actual, real, tangible things.

Here's what came out of it.

3 things I’ve been building

1.Three new template collections nearly ready

The research keeps telling me the same thing: the gap isn’t knowledge. It’s having the right tools. You know what you want to say. You just don’t want to spend two hours building a graphic before you can say it. So I’ve been at the design desk quietly building for weeks.

2. For the women who need to go deeper first: The ROOT Framework

ROOT is for you if you're not quite ready for templates because you're still working out the common thread that runs through everything you know.
