I’m back from my niece’s wedding, and wow—what a weekend!

The whole day was magic: heartfelt vows, stunning flowers, the sweetest flower girls and boys, and all the joy that comes from being surrounded by people who truly show up for one another. Community in its most beautiful and loving form.

We had to leave the next day, so I booked the latest flight possible to soak up every last moment. And somewhere over the Atlantic, binge-watching a BBC Maestro course on dog training (stay with me 😂), I heard a line that stopped me in my tracks:

I couldn’t help but think… this is true in business, too.

3 business tips to grow using feedback (not fear)

1️⃣ BUILD FEEDBACK INTO YOUR WORKFLOWS

Don’t wait for a client to volunteer feedback—ask for it.
→ After a session, send a quick 3-question check-in.
→ After a course or workshop, ask what worked and what could be better.
→ Use those insights to clarify your copy, refine your offer, or improve your onboarding.

2️⃣ TURN TESTIMONIALS INTO TUNING FORKS​

Love notes from clients? They’re more than warm fuzzies—they’re clues.
→ What words do they use?
→ What results do they highlight?
→ That’s your language. That’s your magic.
Double down on what’s working and let the rest go.

3️⃣ ZOOM OUT AND TRACK THE PATTERNS​

One comment is data. Three similar ones? That’s gold.
→ Is everyone confused about the same part of your process? Simplify it.
→ Are they asking for a resource you don’t have? Create it.
→ Are they raving about something you didn’t expect? Feature it more prominently.

The more you invite aligned feedback, the more aligned your growth becomes.
