[🧪321] I'm moving slowly through 2026 (and you should too)

Hey, Reader!

Happy 2026! I hope this year has welcomed you slowly, quietly, and with more intention than the end of 2025. I've had a lovely, slow and quiet couple of weeks for rest, yoga, mindfulness and a digital detox.

I'm making some changes this year, and I need your help.

My mission is getting clearer: I'm here to support women who've left corporate life to build meaningful, heart-led businesses—but who feel invisible online despite decades of expertise.

If that's you, you're in the right place. Stay right here.

If you originally signed up for menopause wisdom, yoga practices, or wellness content—I haven't forgotten you. I'm just moving that conversation to where it belongs: This is Menopause Life on Substack.

You won't miss anything. I'll continue writing there about perimenopause, midlife shape-shifting, and the yoga that's getting me through it all.

For everyone staying: Expect practical guidance on building your personal brand, showing up on social media without overwhelm, and creating simple systems that honour your expertise (not exhaust it).

Starting this week, newsletters land on Tuesdays—so you can set up your week instead of wrapping it up.

Now, I want to chat about moving into 2026 with intention & ease instead of panic that it’s already half way through the month. So, take a big, deep breath, and let’s dive in.👇

3 ideas for leaving 2025 behind

1. The 2025 Reflection Ritual

I always carve out quiet time between Christmas and New Year for reflection. My goal? Carry forward what supported my growth—personal and professional—and leave behind everything that didn't serve me.

This isn't about gratitude journaling, it's about honest assessment: What worked? What drained me? What do I refuse to repeat?

Grab the year-end review here and give yourself 30-60 minutes. You'll be glad you did.

2. Choose Your 2026 Word of the Year

Every year, I anchor myself with one word. Not a resolution. Not a goal. A compass.

This year, my word is Glimmer...those fleeting moments of goodness that catch you off guard. The opposite of triggers. The light that breaks through.

I want more of those. In my business, my content, my life.

Download the Word of the Year and see what emerges for you. Then reply and tell me—I genuinely want to know what you choose.

3. Sit with it. See how it fits.

Don't rush this part. Your word might shift in the first few weeks of the year. That's okay. Let it settle. Notice where it shows up. Adjust if needed.

Intentionality beats intensity every time.

This week, I updated my Start here post to clearly show what I do and who I serve. It's part of my January refresh—and it's been one of my highest-engagement posts. Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Quick question: Are you staying for the small business content, or would you like me to move you to the menopause/wellness list on Substack? Just reply and let me know. You can unsubscribe any time—no hard feelings.
